Rio Tinto Storage Facility
This project involved raising the current Paraburdoo Tailings Dam walls to facilitate the tailings capacity of the Rio Tinto Paraburdoo Mine. The project involved the removal of 67,000m3 of top soil, 50,000m3 of sub soil and the placing of 220,000m3 of borrow material to lift the current dam walls.The project infrastructure included the upgrading of existing haul roads, widening of LV roads and the creation of new roads for access to borrow areas and site access.
